POOJA JAIN

Pooja was born in the beautiful country of Ireland on July 28th, 1991 to Gyan and Chandra Surana. While she spent only the first 11 months of her life there, she’s truly proud of her Irish nationality. She moved on to India for two years where she had the opportunity to learn explicit Hindi words that she brought along with her to the Garden State. As an extremely mischievous toddler and creating havoc in New Jersey for two years, she made her way (with the help of her family) to Maryland at the age of 4. Pooja has lived here ever since. When she wasn’t in school, she spent countless hours every week trying to master her passion of Competitive Gymnastics. Growing up, she aspired to be many different things from News Reporter to Bollywood Actress, Fire Fighter to Doctor. Regardless of what she aspired to be, Pooja has always been ambitious and pictured a high life in a big city. To get a start on those ambitions, Pooja joined the University of Maryland, College Park and graduated with a Neurobiology-Physiology degree in May, 2013. She decided to follow her sister’s footsteps into a career in Sales & Marketing at Aflac and after spending a year in the field, she successfully took on a Sales Management role. Now that she is well settled in her career life, she is ready to embark upon a new journey…marriage!

THE GROOM

AMAN BHANSALI

Aman was born in Jaipur, India on October 11th, 1989 to Ranjana and Dharmendra Bhansali. The little boy, who came out "Ulta" (Upside down) while kicking like crazy, as if he was already dancing was none other than Aman Bhansali. Aman spent the next 6 years in Jaipur running around and doing everything in his capability to make sure it was an adventure for anyone trying to feed him. While sharing stories and keeping his mind busy just so he would sit and eat Aman quickly grew up. He moved to London at the age of 6 where he began his education, and though he was not able to pick up on that british accent he was always a sharp mind. Aman's biggest passion was always music and dance, he's always had a beat in his step. At the age of 11 Aman made his way over the Atlantic to Pittsburgh for a quick stop. After just 8 months he quickly lost his interest in being a Steelers fan and his interest grew towards the Washington DC Area. He has been in the northern VA area since. Always dancing and jamming out to all types of tunes Aman breezed through school. He graduated from University of Texas In Dallas with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Business Administration. He focused his career towards the cloud and is now a Salesforce Architect at TCS. Now that he is well settled in his career life, he is ready to embark upon a new journey…marriage!
